Exterior surfaces are crafted from the highest quality knotty pine hand stained a warm honey color, not top coated. Some interior framing is constructed of Oriented Strandboard (OSB) and drawer bottoms are Masonite (a very strong fiberboard). This well-designed bed storage system features tongue-and-groove construction; each drawer glides on precision metal drawer slides.
